ICPE 2020 ON-LINE SESSIONS

April 22-24th 2020
(9:00-12:00 Edmonton MDT/UTC-6, 15:00 UTC, 17:00-20:00 CEST/UTC+2)

The organizing committee of the International Conference on Performance Engineering 2020 (ICPE2020) is pleased to announce that free online sessions will take place on the dates on which the conference was originally scheduled to take place, following the cancellation of the physical conference due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Join us to recognize the work of our authors and organizing committee!

REGISTRATION (IT’S FREE!):

To control the load on the online tools, please send us an email to icpe2020-virtual@easychair.org asap to register your participation. Please send us the name and email you wish to use to register for the ICPE 2020 Slack workspace.

DETAILS ON GOING ONLINE:

Following the example of ASPLOS 2020 [1] and other conferences, we will have a live opening plenary session, and several abbreviated sessions in which authors of accepted papers will respond to questions collected in advance and formulated live. These discussions will be moderated. Next to the articles, which ACM will make openly accessible, authors can submit their slides and record their presentations in advance. In the interest of broadening participation in the ICPE community, the material will be accessible to all.

NEW, ONLINE PROGRAM:

The sessions will be run synchronously on April 22-24, from 09:00 am to 12:00 UTC-6 (11:00-14:00 EDT, 17:00-20:00 CEST/MEZ/HEC). Links to the technology used for the online meeting (we are testing Zoom and GoToMeeting) and for the live messaging (Slack) will be sent to you at your registered email address. March 20, 2020 - UPDATE on ICPE 2020 in relation to Covid19 (Coronavirus)

The travel restrictions imposed by several governments makes it impossible to go ahead with the in-person conference in Edmonton in April 2020.

The ICPE organization will proceed with the publication of the proceedings on the original schedule and the addition of ICPE 2020 to the ACM Digital Library.

The organizers will be working with the authors to make video presentations and slides available on the ICPE 2020 website. Furthermore, the ICPE Steering Committee is currently reviewing options for synchronous interactions between authors/presenters and interested participants.

Paying registered participants will receive information in the coming weeks on the refund process.

March 13, 2020 - UPDATE on ICPE 2020 in relation to Covid19 (Coronavirus)

Given the most recent developments on travel restrictions, the International Conference on Performance Engineering 2020 will not be held as planned in April 2020.

The ICPE sponsoring organizations are currently been consulted, and the ICPE Steering Committee will meet on March 19 2020.

After these consultations and meetings take place, an announcement about ICPE 2020 will be made in this website and via email communication to all registered participants and authors.
